**Title: Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning – Mini Debates That Challenge Students to Think on Their Feet, Description: How do you teach your students to defend the claims they make? Engage them in challenges, competitions, and debates!
**Title: Adapting to changes in APES: Using Models to Depict Environmental Systems and Problems, Description: Participate in building a student-designed model to experience the impact of developing and using models to teach depth, detail, and dynamics. Evaluate and improve the model and then use it to propose and defend potential solutions.
