Solutions Forum Series: Successful Strategies to Increase Student Attendance, Engagement, and Participation

This 1-hour forum is a collaborative experience where teachers exchange solutions to challenges faced in the 2020-21 school year. Notes will be taken using shared documents so each person will benefit from all concurrent conversations regardless of which breakout room they attend. Groups will be remixed with each successive breakout room with a goal to address a different problem that has marked this school year. In this session of the series, participants will discuss strategies that have been successful for increasing and maintaining student attendance in remote, hybrid, and in-person classes. We will share techniques that have resulted in higher levels of student engagement and participation. We will discuss what has worked to build excitement and interest in your course. This workshop will allow attendees to walk away with specific vetted solutions and resources used by other educators in situations similar to their own.
