The College Board determines whether or not a curriculum passes the high standards for an AP Biology course based on the scope and depth of study, methods utilized and inclusion of labs, standards and skills as described by the Curricular Requirements, Big Ideas, Enduring Understandings and Science Practices found on the College Board website: apcentral.collegeboard.com.
A complete Audit Syllabus is available for separate purchase to teachers who already use the AP* Biology Daily Lesson Plans curriculum. The Audit Syllabus is aligned with the contents of the AP* Biology Daily Lesson Plans curriculum and is guaranteed to pass the College Board audit process. Upon purchase, the Audit Syllabus can be downloaded in a Word formatted document that takes about 20 minutes to customize and submit electronically.
